Unlucky

File name: Unlucky

Art description: This illustration presents a cartoon-style maneki-neko (Japanese lucky cat) with a delightfully ironic twist. Adorned with a pirate-like eyepatch and medical bandages on its raised paw, the typically auspicious figure is transformed into a symbol of charming misfortune. The text above humorously declares “UNLUCKY & PROBABLY CURSED,” while the plea below reads “PLEASE DON’T TOUCH ME,” accompanied by a reference to Gotokuji Temple—the legendary birthplace of the maneki-neko. A bell hangs from its neck, and it clutches a red medical cross, merging traditional symbolism with a playful medical theme for a uniquely witty character.
